Wife Suzette tributes Twisted Sister mainman for being at her side in court during case over her brother’s mob execution
The wife of Twisted Sister mainman Dee Snider has paid tribute to her husband for being at her side during the court case over her brother’s murder.
The Sniders and their in-laws are hoping the trial will see justice done after Vincent Gargiulo was shot in the face in a gangster execution in 2003. He was 34.
Suzette and Daniel “Dee” Snider have been attending Long Island Federal Court since pretrial hearings began on February 14, and she says his support is everything she could ask for.
“My brother’s murderer site in the courtroom with a smile on his face,” she reports, “I can’t wait until we get justice and the smile is on my face.
“I can’t believe the things I’m hearing. It’s mind-blowing. What a piece of shit this guy is.
“Having a partner who stands by you through it all – that’s my idea of true love.”
Snider, who credits his wife for supporting him as he struggled with drug addiction and financial difficulties in the late 1980s and early 1990s, says his dead brother-in-law was a “great person.”
He continues: “Eighteen years ago he walked away from a life of crime and never looked back.
“It’s an incredible feeling of frustration to know who is responsible for the death of a loved one and not be able to do anything about it.
“My wife’s torment affected her on an emotional level and a physical level. We hurt as a family as well.”
Gargiulo’s former business partner Christian Tarantino is a accused of the murder after the pair fell out over a business deal. Pretrial hearings have concluded and the murder and conspiracy trial is due to begin on March 22.
