Killswitch Engage last night confirmed Jesse Leach had returned by filling the front page of their website with a photo of the singer surrounded by his bandmates.
The move confirmed what fans had suspected since Leach’s replacement, Howard Jones, left the band in January, citing health issues and a lack of commitment.
No official comment has been made, but KSE have confirmed a reunion show on April 22 in Worcester, Massachusetts, followed by a European festival tour starting on June 6.
Leach recently refused to comment on whether he was returning to the band he’d left ten years ago, saying: “You don’t have to know everything. These days everybody is on Facebook and tweeting everything that happens. What happened to the mystery of music and not knowing everything?”
Killswitch Engage was Howard Jones, not Jesse. Fuck him.
